Call For Examiners {Summer Cycle}
Applications are currently being accepted for the Wisconsin Forward Award Board of Examiners through May 7th. Application materials are available for download under The Forward Award tab. WCPE seeks candidates from all sectors of Wisconsin’s economy, including business, health care, education, manufacturing, not-for-profit, service, and government. Examiners review applications and provide feedback to Wisconsin organizations based on the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence. The Wisconsin Forward Award program provides training and mentoring opportunities. Examiner trainings are held in late January (winter cycle) and June (summer cycle)

About Us

Started in 1997 under the administration of Governor Tommy Thompson and continuing with the support of Wisconsin governmental leaders, Wisconsin Forward Award (WFA) is one of 34 state based quality programs in the country dedicated to raising productivity. Fast-forward 13 years, and the Wisconsin Forward Award program has spread its wings and expanded its sphere of influence as the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence. WCPE is charged with enhancing organizational performance, operational excellence, and sustainability that lead to improved outcomes and better quality of life in our state.

We’ll still be recognizing great organizations with the Wisconsin Forward Award (check out our new application pathways!), but we’ve expanded our programs and services to better meet the demands of Wisconsin workplaces. The Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence has brought the Madison Area Quality and Innovation Network (MAQIN) under its fold. In addition to hosting trainings and sharing one of the most comprehensive quality libraries around, WCPE is  becoming a clearinghouse for all things related to continuous organizational improvement, innovation, high performance, sustainability and social change not only in Madison, but throughout Wisconsin and beyond. WCPE continues to offer popular trainings, roundtables and other collaborative learning opportunities in a variety of face-to-face and virtual formats, as well as to build strategic partnerships with other like-minded organizations and enterprises.
