About Pat Lapekas, MHA, MT(ASCP), CSSBB, CMQ/OE

Pat Lapekas leads her consulting firm, Lapekas & Associates and brings over 30 years of HealthCare leadership experience and expertise.  She is focused on providing organizations with expertise, knowledge and resources in Performance Excellence, the Baldrige criteria, strategic planning, process management and improvement methodologies, lean six sigma, and ISO 9000.  Pat has served as a national and state examiner for the past 20 years; and current serves as an alumni examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Process, senior examiner for PEN; and is a Senior Judge for the both the Performance Excellence Northwest/Washington State Quality Award and AHCA programs. Pat is also a ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor has helped organization effectively migrate from the TJC to DNV-GL.  Pat earned a Master’s degree in Health Administration from St. Louis University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Michigan State University.
